Westside, Atlanta, GA

Project Type: Residential Interior Design
Space: Kitchen, Primary Bathroom
Location: Westside
Nearby Area: Atlantic Station
City: Atlanta, GA

  • In West Midtown, this renovation blends historic character with an updated point of view. Pale sage cabinetry brings freshness to the kitchen, grounded by hand glazed cream tile and brushed brass accents. In the primary bath, light oak cabinetry, matte black wall mounted fixtures, and soft textiles create a restorative atmosphere. Throughout, woven window shades, natural textures, and a warm neutral palette give the home a serene, lived in rhythm.

  • Create a home that feels settled and warm, respecting the neighborhood’s older fabric while dialing in a quieter, more contemporary mood. Priorities included durable finishes, comfortable lighting, and a visual flow that reads cohesive from kitchen to primary bath.

  • The kitchen pairs pale sage cabinetry with veined white quartz, a fluted white range hood, and a hand glazed backsplash to keep the palette soft but grounded. A stainless apron front sink and brushed brass hardware add function and warmth without glare. In the primary bath, warm wood tones and pared back black fixtures keep the lines clean while adding contrast. Across both spaces, tactile surfaces and neutrals stay calm rather than stark.

  • Sage Cabinetry + Brushed Brass Hardware

Soft green cabinetry sets the tone; brushed brass pulls/knobs add warmth with a low sheen.

    Hand Glazed Cream Tile Backsplash

Subway tile with tonal variation ties counters and walls together without visual noise.

    Fluted White Range Hood

A vertical ribbed hood adds quiet texture and a crisp focal line above the range.

Veined White Quartz + Apron Front Sink

Durable, light counters meet a stainless farmhouse sink for everyday utility.

Light Oak Vanity + Matte Black Fixtures

In the bath, oak cabinetry and black wall mounted faucets balance warmth and definition.

    Layered Lighting + Woven Shades

Brass and white pendants in the kitchen and clear glass sconces at the vanity add soft, targeted light; woven shades filter daylight.
